Last Week Of First Semester

          The first semester this school year 2011-2012 is about to finish, it only means that we are on our final exam week. We need to review and study hard to pass all our subject.

          But there is something interested about our last week of this semester. The President of sports committee approve our wish to have a football team of Wesleyan to compete to the other schools not only in nueva ecija but on the whole region III. Many of engineering students wants to be part of that team, especially the boys of BSECE 2A that's why we attended the first try out and hoping that we will become part of the team.

Bagyong Pedring Disaster

        Matapos ang ilang taon na nakalipas, muling nagkaroon ng malakas na bagyo sa Nueva Ecija. Ang bagyong Pedring ay tumama sa ating lugar at nanira ng madaming pananim at mga establisyamento, hindi lamang sa Nueva Ecija kundi maging sa buong Pilipinas. Madami ang nagkatumbahang puno dahil sa malakas na hangin na dala ng bagyong ito na naging sanhi ng malawakang pagkawala ng kuryente sa iba't ibang lugar sa Nueva Ecija. 

       Madami sa ating mga kababayan ang nawalan ng kani-kanilang mga bahay kya madami sa kanila ay nagpunta sa mga evacuation center. Sa kabutihang palad, madaming mga naghandog ng tulong para sa kanila, nagbigay ng mga relief goods at mga damit. Sa kabila ng trahedyang ito, naipakita natin na kaya nating lampasan ang mfa problemang dadating sa atin kung tayo ay magkakaisa.

      I can say that we Filipinos are kindhearted people because despite of the calamities that pass by,  we can survive all the problem if we have unity.


     

Intramurals 2011

Finally, Intrams were done and Engineering Sharks is on fire this year because we have two champions in team game, the baseball team and the table tennis team. Also the the swimming team got 18 golds, and that was absolutely amazing. We are all happy because of all our sacrifice are all worth it. I think next year, Engineering Sharks will dominate all of the events in the Intramural, this is just a start of our strong come back.

Buwan ng Wika

           "Ang hindi magmahal sa sariling wika  ay higit pa sa hayop at malansang isda". Yan ang katagang iniwan sa atin ng ating pambansang bayaning si Dr. Jose Rizal. Ang katagang iyan ang nagmumulat sa mga mata ng bawat Pilipino na dapat natin mahalin ang atin sariling wika.

            Ngayong buwan ay ipinagdiriwang natin ang buwan ng wika upang gunitain sa ating mga kababayan na hindi tayo dapat magpasakop sa wika ng ibang bansa. Tagalog ang karaniwan natin tawag sa ating sinasabi, ngunit Filipino talaga ang tawag sa ating wika. Ang pagbibigay importansiya sa ating wika ay makakatulong para palawakin ang ating kaalaman at matutong makipagsalamuha sa ating kapwa. Kaya ang "Buwan ng Wika" ay ipinagdiriwang upang ipagmalaki natin ang ating sariling wika at upang hindi ito mkalimutan lalo na sa darating na bagong henerasyon.

I've chose this picture as one of the sign of Nueva Ecija because I believe that Nueva Ecija is one of the best supplier of slippers her in the Philippines. There are many factories of slippers here at N.E especially in Gapan, that's why we always have a celebration on August 25 called "TSINELAS FESTIVAL". 

I have an experience at Manila, one of my board mates ask me, where did I live, and I said, in Gapan City Nueva Ecija. And he said that he knows about the Tsinelas Festival, therefore I can say that slipper can be part of the logo of Nueva Ecija.

Prelim Week

Ngayong linggo kami ay magpeprelim exam, so we need to review well to get  high grades, especially in physics and calculus. Yesterday we have a lot of exam but suddenly the storm juaning came here at Nueva Ecija, that's why our exam will moved on Friday. Kami ay nagtry-out sa baseball pra may malaruan kmi sa intrams at sa kabutihang palad, natanggap naman. Bukas ay magiging busy kmi maxado dahil lahat ng subject ay may exam, kaya goodluck sa aming lahat.

What might happen in 10years?

After 10 years, maybe I'm already an engineer and working in different network company here in the Philippines or hopefully, in the other countries. I think, I already have my own family with 2 kids that time, a beautiful house and lots of cars parked in my garage. Also, I'm supporting my family's needs at the same time. :)

Why I Choose Ece and Why at WU-P?

                  I chose ECE because one of my cousin finish this course, and now he has a successful life with his family. And many of my relatives encourage me to take up this course because it is very in demand in the other country especially in Asian countries. ECE is a very hard course and very challenging but it helps to make more competitive and to force myself to do great things and I want to be an Engineer someday.


                 WU-P because they have a good facilities and the professors are doing well that gives us to gain more knowledge. WU-P can provide the needs of the students when we have a problem about our subjects. That's why i chose WU-P as my school of my college life.
